2018 Highlights

Salsa Certification Course with Tito Ortos, Monday October 8th, 11am to 6pm. The Salsa Certification Course by Tito Ortos is geared to salsa instructors or to those dancers who are thinking of becoming salsa instructors in the future.  The course is also open to those salsa aficionados who would like to delve deeper and learn as much as possible about the art of Salsa.

The course will include both theoretical and practical components and will cover topics such as the history and evolution of Salsa music and dance, musicality and timing, teaching methodology including the Tito Ortos Method and the social benefits of Salsa. A written summary of the topics discussed and a certificate of completion will be given to each course attendee.

The History of Salsa component has been moved to Sunday so that there is more time on Monday for Methodology and the Tito Ortos teaching methods. History of Salsa component will be on Sunday Oct. 7 for 2 hours (TBC) and is optional for those who took the course last year.  Discount for everyone who took the course last year. Email info@canadasalsacongress.com for the discount code.

If a school has 4 or more instructors/dancers that want to participate, email info@canadasalsacongress.com
for a $50 off per person coupon code.  Register on our Tickets page.
